LinkedAI is a Chrome browser extension that helps users write LinkedIn posts using the OpenAI API. The extension is developed and maintained by an independent developer ("we", "us").

We collect no personal data. LinkedAI has no backend servers, no user accounts, and no analytics. Nothing you type, generate, or configure is ever sent to us.
The only data the extension stores is saved locally in your own browser using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API:
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to anyone but you.
When you generate post suggestions, your browser sends a request directly to OpenAI's API (api.openai.com) using your own API key. This request is made from your browser — not through any LinkedAI server. We never see, store, or transmit your API key.
Your use of the OpenAI API is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
LinkedAI adds a button to the LinkedIn website interface but does not read, store, or transmit any content from your LinkedIn account. The extension only injects UI elements — it does not access your LinkedIn profile, connections, messages, or any other LinkedIn data.
LinkedAI uses no cookies and no tracking technologies of any kind. We use no analytics tools (no Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, nothing).
The only third-party service the extension communicates with is OpenAI (api.openai.com), and only when you actively click "Generate". This communication uses your own API key and is governed by OpenAI's own privacy policy and terms of service.
Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you are in full control. You can clear all LinkedAI data at any time by removing the extension from Chrome, or by clearing your browser's extension storage via Chrome's developer tools.
LinkedAI is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
